Join us as we explore the results of the 2011 Paterson Kids Count Report and gain a deeper understanding of the implications.
Through a facilitated work session with our partner Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ), we will
utilize the Kids Count Data to create an action agenda for changing the lives of children and families in Paterson.
As a Community Stakeholder, with an interest in Paterson, we need you to attend and work with us. "Our children will remake our beloved city. How well they are prepared for the task is up to us."

Director Uche Akobund as they present the findings of WHERE'S THE FOOD? and discuss their implications for Passaic County. In 2011, United Way in partnership with CUMAC, received a Hunger-Free Community grant from the USDA to investigate food insecurity and food access in Passaic County. The WHERE'S THE FOOD? report draws from information obtained from community- based surveys, focus group meetings, GIS mapping and reviews of federal, state and local reports.
